And here's Kenzie doing what she normally does, sleeping the day away so she can be refreshed and awake for the night!

Emma's Acrobatics

I had gone upstairs to check on Kenzie and when I came back down Emma was sitting in the swing. I couldn't figure out how she had done it since there is a latch that you have to unhook to move the tray of toys that is in front. But I was able to convince her to show me how she got in....

She is really quite the monkey now and can get into almost anything. It's makes life interesting because I'm always on the lookout to see what she is up to. When it's quiet I know there must be trouble, such as stunts like this, and 90% of the time I'm right.

The girls and their wonderful Dad

Here we go...

So, I guess I'm a sucker for peer pressure! I have always liked viewing other peoples blogs but I didn't really have an interest to start my own, it sounded like too much work. But Dantzel has mentioned it enough times that I feel guilty now and I've also decided it would be good for me. I don't think I talk to adults enough, since when Mitch comes home I have been adding the "e" sound to words that don't require it, such as "Mitch-ee, how was work? Oh, you burned your arm! It looks ouch-ee!" I think my brain is turning to mush. Ergo, I have started this blog to hopefully connect me with the outer world more and therefore hopefully think deeper thoughts other than, "So you want me to read Green Eggs And Ham one more time?!" But don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a mom to my two beautiful girls. They bring me so much joy and I love my life! You have great experiences every day as a mother that you just can't get anywhere else except with your own kids. For example, just the other day Emma learned how to say no to me and now that is all she says to me all day. What is better than the terrible twos? I can't think of anything....

So, I guess it has started...... Let the blogging begin!
